THIS TALK WAS PRESENTED LIVE DURING THE INAUGURAL MEDD LIVE 2020 VIRTUAL MEDICAL CONFERENCE

Dr Dale Murdoch shares his experience performing Valve in Valve TAVI procedures.

Learning Objectives:
1. Identification of patients with failed bioprosthetic heart valves
2. Assessment for valve in valve (VIV) procedures
3. Safety and efficacy evidence for VIV procedures

Abstract:
All bioprosthetic valves will fail, if patients live sufficiently long, and patients with failed bioprosthetic valves are at increased risk of redo open-heart surgery. Valve in valve procedures are less invasive and lower risk than redo surgery, with excellent safety and efficacy data.
