Cardiac CT: Calcium scoring or CTCA, which test should I do?
Learning Objectives:
What are the key strengths and weaknesses of ct calcium scoring and coronary angiography?
What is the most appropriate test to request for my patient at this point in time?
Abstract:
Coronary calcium scoring has been available for 20 years, and CTCA for ~10 years, and in this time have evolved from villain to hero. This presentation provides an evidence based guide with case reviews on how to best utilise cardiac CT technology for day to day management of patients.
