Abstract:
This session will discuss the pathogenesis and treatment of the metabolic syndrome in light of the obesity epidemic. The latest guidelines on the surgical treatment of diabetes mellitus are going to be discussed. Different surgical operations and outcomes are going to be reviewed. Q&A’s at the end of the presentation.
