These terms and conditions relate to the Sponsorship Proposal outlined in the prospectus provided to you.
Terms and Conditions
1. Obligations of Connect the Docs
1.1 We will run the Event in a competent manner and handle all attendee bookings and communications.
1.2 We will provide registered speakers access to our webinar facilities and instructions on how to utilise these facilities to meet their presentation obligations.
1.3 Host your presentation recording on the MEDD website for access by verified healthcare practitioners.
2. Your obligations
2.1 You must provide all information or things we request of you by the date we advise they are due. For example, your presentation details, your intellectual property (logo, trademark, images etc) if you would like to be included on promotional material, and websites. If we do not have something we need, we may not be able to include you on the program and will be under no obligation to provide alternatives.
2.2 Your marketing material to be included in the event must comply with all legal and regulatory requirements applicable to your business. You indemnify us in respect of any claim made as a result of your breach of this provision.
2.3 You indemnify us in respect to any misinformation or claims you make during your presentation.
3. Intellectual Property
3.1 To enable us to complete our obligations under this agreement, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, revocable license to use any of the intellectual property (eg. your logo or trade-mark) you supply to us for the purpose of completing our obligations under this agreement and for marketing, promoting or running the Event.
3.2 You agree we will create an audio, video or other recording of the Event, which may or may not contain footage or images of your personnel (‘event recording’). Copyright in the event recording will belong to Connect the Docs upon creation.
3.3 You acknowledge that Connect the Docs may use the event recording (commercially or otherwise) on the MEDD website and other compliant media, including editing and/or using parts of the event recording to create derivative works. You irrevocably waive all editorial rights or compensation rights associated with the event recording.
4. Collection of data
4.1 We will not provide personal information about attendees to presenters. You may include in your presentations, calls to action to capture lead data.
4.2 You will be permitted to include calls to action for the purpose of capturing lead data in the post Event promotional opportunities.
4.3 By submitting speaker registration details, delegates agree to allow Connect The Docs and companies associated with the conference to contact them to invite them to further MEDD events and content pieces. Delegates who do not wish to receive such communications please email [email protected].
4.4 The contact details of registered delegates will be placed on the attendee list which will be held by Connect the Docs and used to invite delegates to future MEDD events and use of the HealthCombined physician networking platform. Delegates who do not wish to be included on this list should advise at the time of registering.
5.1 Views expressed by speakers are their own. Connect the Docs cannot accept liability for advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker at the conference or in any material provided to delegates.
5.2 Connect the Docs may use the speaker’s name and presentation materials for promoting delegate attendance at the conference.
5.3 Connect the Docs may record the speaker’s session and the recording may be reproduced and as part of the overall conference materials and hosted on the MEDD learning platform. This allows delegates to access audio/video copies of presentations that they may have been unable to attend for free.
5.4 It is the speaker’s responsibility to obtain the required permission to use any Copyright material used in their presentation and acknowledge the use of Copyright material in the reference or abstract section of the presentation.
5.5 We do not guarantee that all nominated presentations will be included on the program. Nominated presenters will
6. Postponement and cancellation of Event
6.1 We may postpone or extend the Event period at our discretion for any reason.
6.2 We will not be liable for any costs or expenses incurred by you if the Event is postponed or extended for any reason.
