Reproductive Carrier Screening and Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis

Join A/Prof Alahakoon for an overview of genetic conditions, screening, single gene disorders, reproductive carrier screening, and IVF case studies.

This is a RACGP CPD module with an allocated 1 hour of Education Activities (EA) and 1 hour of Reflective Practice (RP) under the RACGP 2023-25 CPD program.

Learning Objectives:

1. Review genetic conditions identified during the screening processes
2. Review current Medicare-approved and RACGP/RANZCOG testing guidelines
3. Discuss the impact of these tests related to patients undergoing fertility treatments
