Develop the ability to recognise AF patients with associated cardiovascular diseases and hone your skills in identifying individuals at stroke risk, determining appropriate use of NOACs. Learn to tailor rhythm control plans for individual patients and discern when catheter-based therapies, such as AF ablation, are optimal. Lastly, understand the critical role of incorporating these plans into a comprehensive Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP) for a holistic approach to AF patient care.

Learning Objectives:
1. Recall that AF patients often present with cardiovascular diseases (such as Heart failure, IHD)
2. Identify those patients at risk of stroke and when to consider NOACS
3. Identify patients for individualised rhythm control plans
4. Identify which patients are best suited for referral for catheter-based therapies such as AF ablation
5. Recall the importance of incorporating these plans into a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP)
