Kidney Cancer – Diagnosis and Treatment

Course Details

Improve your understanding of Kidney Cancer by gaining insights into renal masses, evaluating patients, recognising associated features, exploring treatment options, and understanding crucial indications for referral.

This is a RACGP CPD module with an allocated 1 hour of Education Activities (EA), 5 hours of Measuring Outcomes (MO), and 1 hour of Reflective Practice (RP) under the RACGP 2023-25 CPD program.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand the types of renal masses and list differential diagnosis
  2. Evaluate patients with renal masses
  3. Recognise renal mass and its associated features
  4. Describe various treatment options
  5. Understand indications for referral

This activity is presented by Dr Lawrence Kim, a Urological Surgeon at the Norwest Private Hospital. Dr Kim has a special interest in urological oncology and manages conditions like urinary stone disease and voiding dysfunction.
