MEDD is excited to launch a new monthly series designed exclusively for cardiologists. CardioCast is a convenient way of staying up-to-date and connected with other cardiology subspecialties and your colleagues.
It can be challenging to keep up with the ever-evolving practice of cardiology, let alone what the team in the other lab, city, or across the country is up to. CardioCast aims to bring together cardiologists that want to share their experiences (or get advice) and an audience eager to learn and support those willing to share.
CardioCast live sessions will take place at 7:00pm (AEST) every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings on a monthly basis to ensure everyone can attend some live sessions.
Recordings will be available in the CardioCast user group, accessible through the MEDD.com.au website or app.
Each live session will include two 20 to 25min talks with an accompanying 5 to 10 minute Q&A.
A relevant host may also be invited to moderate the meeting and Q&A.
Post-event discussions and questions for the presenters can be posted in the CardioCast user group or MEDD private chat feature.
On-demand and podcast sessions will be available to all CardioCast members.
CardioCast is for cardiologists, by cardiologists. If you feel your topic offers value or needs to be heard by the cardiology community, nominate to present or be interviewed.
You may want to raise awareness of a particular issue in cardiology, innovation in diagnostics and therapy management or spotlight local research.
CardioCast is an opportunity to update other cardiologists on what’s happening in your field of cardiology.
We will strive to to mix the topics so each session offers something for everyone.
CardioCast will be promoted to the cardiology and cardiac surgeon community through email, social media, company partners, hospital MEDD programs and Hope For Hearts members.
There are roughly 1,800 of you in this unique community, so we will do our best to get an invitation to every member.
